Job Summary:
As our Maintenance Billing Coordinator, you'll oversee the billing processes for our aviation maintenance operations. This role demands meticulous attention to detail. Your responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for all maintenance work performed, supporting our commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. No prior billing experience is necessary; comprehensive training will be provided.
Schedule/Hours:
Must be available from 11 AM - 3 PM ET
Approximately 20 - 25 hours per week
Experience:
Experience in the aviation industry is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and issue invoices for maintenance services provided, ensuring alignment with contracted terms and completed work orders.
Review maintenance logs and work orders to verify costs and labor hours are accurately reflected on invoices.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing, providing clear and prompt information to resolve issues.
Maintain and update billing records and prepare reports on billing activities.
Collaborate with the finance department to streamline billing processes and implement improvements.
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new billing software quickly.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the aviation industry.
Understanding of FAA regulations and requirements is advantageous.
Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
