About The Role:
Runway Warbird Team is seeking a proactive, detail oriented, and execution-focused individual to join the team as a Maintenance Line Technician. The ideal teammate is creative in their approach to solving problems and can work independently.
This is an hourly, non-exempt position located in Bentonville, Arkansas. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
Entry Level Starting Pay: $15.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Manage shop cleanliness and organization.
- Assist all team members as needed.
- Assist with aircraft before and after flights.
- Assists with moving aircraft.
- Assists with marshaling during operations.
- Performs daily scheduled checks and assists with maintenance operations.
- Cleans and details aircraft.
- Assist with aircraft restoration as assigned by the Director of Operations.
- Assist mechanics as needed.
- Makes sure that assigned duties are performed to the highest professional standards.
Qualifications required for your success
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1-2 years aviation line technician experience required.
- 3-5 years of aviation line technician experience preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities
- Ability to read, comprehend, and adhere to manual instructions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software used to complete and maintain records.
- Detail-oriented with mechanical inclination.
- Superior and careful workmanship.
- Ability to perform consistently under stressful conditions.
- Ability to perform basic inspections and repairs.
- Ability to learn new skills and methods of repairs.
- Sufficient oral and verbal communication skills, as needed, to discuss equipment malfunctions and complete reports.
- Ability to pass a successful background check.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, lie, and kneel in awkward positions and spaces.
- Must be able to perform work on scaffolding or ladders.
- Must be able to lift and pull objects weighing up to 70 pounds at a time.
- Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate tools or make adjustments and repairs.
- Must have visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects.
- Must be able to hear well enough to test sounds and identify functioning level of aircraft.
