We are seeking a full-time Flight Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position is based at the Hillsboro, Oregon airport, and prepares, updates, maintains, and provides flight information to flight crews and company personnel. The ideal candidate is one who enjoys working a flexible night shift schedule including working holidays.

Required Duties and Responsibilities - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the required duties and responsibilities.
- Coordinates logistics for crew members and passengers, including arranging air travel, ground transportation, hotel accommodations and catering.
- Handles travel issues and conflicts experienced by crew members and assists to make alternative arrangements before and during a trip.
- Creates detailed Itineraries and provides relevant information and supporting documentation to crew members and appropriate interdepartmental personnel.
- Tracks flights and participates in handling crew schedules.
- Efficiently and effectively manages a high call volume, notating and taking appropriate action for each call.
- Maintains accurate record keeping and coding of all bookings, billings, and transactions; works cohesively interdepartmentally to ensure smooth handling of such records.
- Builds and maintains professional customer relationships via phone, email, and personal interactions.
- Maintain reliable, regular, and predictable attendance.
- Successful completion and favorable results of pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background check.
- Adhere to all Aero Air policies and standards of conduct.
- Other duties as directed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Impeccable follow through with the ability to multi-task and problem solve.
- Excellent phone etiquette and listening skills.
- Prior customer service experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally in person, on the phone, and through written correspondences.
- Ability to demonstrate poise, tact, and professionally interact and communicate with employees, vendors, and individuals at all levels of the organization and community.
- Service-oriented and able to build productive professional relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are critical, particularly given the environment where the pace of emergency services work changes rapidly.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate or hand-off to co-workers when appropriate.
- Ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Previous experience as a Flight Coordinator.
- Experience in the travel or aviation industry.
- Part 135 aviation knowledge.
- Charter services knowledge.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
- Requires the ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb stairs throughout the day.
- Finger dexterity is required as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
