AV/VTC Operations Specialist - Toomey Technologies

We are seeking a highly competent AV/VTC Operations Specialist to join our organization. This critical role demands a professional who can ensure seamless communication and collaboration across our enterprise.

• Set up, operate, and maintain AV equipment and VTC systems for meetings, conferences, and presentations, ensuring execution of all communication events.
• Provide on-site support in facilitating and preparing for agency events, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and technical excellence.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the conferencing center and AV/VTC operations, scheduling and coordinating all requirements in advance of events to prevent any potential disruptions.
• Facilitate and assist presenters and customers with comprehensive training and equipment requirements, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and maintaining the organization's reputation for technical proficiency.
• Configure conference room layouts; assist customers in integrating their presentations; set up auxiliary equipment such as flip charts, whiteboards, and teleconference phones to support effective communication.

• Active Secret Clearance Required
• 3-5 years of experience in AV/VTC operations, preferably in government environments
• Strong knowledge of AV equipment operation and maintenance
• Experience with relevant software applications for AV/VTC management
• Strong technical support and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Relevant certifications such as CTS, CCNA, or CompTIA A+ preferred
• Understanding of AV/VTC industry trends and best practices
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and network systems preferred
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds

Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret Clearance
