Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for delivering seamless meeting experiences? We are currently seeking s an Audio-Visual (AV) Specialist, where you’ll take the lead in ensuring flawless AV operations and support for a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
As the go-to expert, you will manage the daily operations of AV systems, troubleshoot end-user issues, and oversee setup for high-profile conference rooms. You’ll also play a key role in training employees on AV technologies, developing user guides, and implementing preventative maintenance schedules.
If you have a knack for collaboration, enjoy solving technical challenges, and have experience with integrated AV systems like Microsoft Teams Rooms, Crestron, and Q-Sys, this is an exciting opportunity to make an impact.
Requirements:
- Daily operations of AV systems and services.
- Main point of contact for meeting room setup/operating meeting room devices.
- Main point of contact for AV related questions / troubleshooting from end users.
- Main point of contact to troubleshoot digital display and signage.
- Will be responsible for setting up AV technology in high-profile/special use conference rooms (ex. Boardroom, Training Room, Committee rooms). As well as point of contact for troubleshooting conferences in these rooms as well as our smaller meeting rooms.
- Responsible for providing high level training to Bank’s new-hires, and meeting coordinators and other non-AV employees on conference room technology and meeting coordination.
- Develop and update meeting room user guides as needed.
- Main point of contact to provide pre-meeting tech run troughs with meeting coordinators and presenters.
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule for the meeting room equipment (hardware reboots, software updates, etc.)
- Liaison with the Bank’s AV Service Provider to place and schedule and track the status of service calls, equipment orders, installations etc.
- During down-time, provide support for special projects as requested
- Occasional off-hours event setup, troubleshooting, production, and support
- Responding to and resolving help desk requests related to online meeting and collaboration tools, meeting application support and troubleshooting, hardware and software troubleshooting and support, and general technology consultation for staff seeking technical support assistance where appropriate.
Education & Experience:
- H.S. diploma required; Undergraduate degree in a related field a plus
- Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) required
- Working experience with integrated AV systems required (Microsoft Teams Rooms, 1Beyond, Q-Sys, Crestron, Atlona, Logitech, Lenovo and Evoko exist in our environment)
- Working experience with administrating and supporting management portals such as Lenovo ThinkSamart Manager, Velocity, and MTR Portal
- Working experience with digital display systems (Spinetix or similar)
- Experience with ServiceNow, Wokday a plus.
