Chicago area commercial electrical contractor is looking for their next Audio/Visual Project Manager and Estimator within commercial electrical construction that can bring their abilities to the team. Well known and respected company to work with that has a excellent growth opportunities in the local Chicago, IL area. Projects focus on Audio and Visual Construction/Installation in the following sectors: Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Municipal/Federal.

Qualifications for Audio Visual Project Manager/Estimator:

New Electrical Construction and renovations / large scale projects with confidence in leading crew and projects from start to finish
5+ years experience in AV Industry / Construction as acting Project Manager or Estimator with familiarity in AV systems for Video conferencing, audio, visual, sound, etc.
Experience working directly in the AV industry designing, esimating, managing, tracking documenting and clousing out AV projects
Responsible for quality control and safety of project so will need self motivation, wont be micromanaged
Monitor the compliance to applicable codes, practices, performance standards and specifications, QA/QC policies
Will regularly interact with clients to understand and interpret their requirements and needs when representing them in the field
Computer skills and Advanced Microsoft office skills, BIG bonus if famialiar with Creston, Biamp and other top manufacturers
Knowledge of regulations, project rules, performance standards and best practices
Audio Visual Construction Focus in Commercial, Healthcare, Education and Municipal / Federal markets
