Automotive Wheel Repair Technician Responsibilities:Thisposition is responsible for repairing and refinishing damaged wheels. Ingersoll Automotive's on-site wheel repair center offers our technicians state-of-the-art equipment, providing world-class repair quality. Compensation is hourly based, with a generous weekly per-wheel repair incentive and monthly bonus. Technicians in this role can expect to earn $65,000 or more annually and qualify for all full-time Ingersoll Automotive Service Team member benefits.
Automotive Wheel Repair Technician Job Description: :
o Inspection of wheels to identify damage and areas requiring repair o Sanding, prepping, and painting wheels
o Straightening bent wheels
o Polishing and powder coating
o Reading estimates and documenting repairs
o Mixing paints and primers to exact specifications
o Matching and blending colors
o Mounting and balancing tires
o Following safety and quality standards
Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Automotive Wheel Repair Technician Physical Requirements:
o Standing for long periods, squatting, bending, twisting
o Able to lift over sixty pounds
o Valid Driver License
