Automotive Technician at TruCut incorporated
Winona, OH
About the Job
Description:
At TruCut Incorporated, we're all about working together to get the job done right. For over 50 years, we've partnered with the largest HVAC equipment manufacturers in the USA by taking care of low-volume production, warehousing, and service part distribution for them. We're based in Northeast Ohio with our headquarters and manufacturing in Sebring and additional manufacturing facilities in Salem and a warehouse and distribution center in Alliance.
We play The Great Game of Business to make sure everyone is part of the team's success. With open books, shared goals, and bonuses, we give our employees the tools to think and act like business owners. If you value teamwork, honesty, and making a difference, we'd love to meet you.
We're looking for a Quality Technician / Inspector to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure that both, the products we manufacture and the manufacturing processes themselves are up to our standards. If you're detail-oriented, good at solving problems, and like hands-on work, this could be the right fit for you.
What We Offer:
- A workplace that respects and rewards your efforts.
- Competitive pay with the chance to earn bonuses.
- A full suite of benefits including health insurance and retirement plans.
- A chance to build your skills and grow with the company.
- A team where your ideas and input matter.
What We're Looking for in You:
- Someone who understands that quality is built into a product, not inspected in.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with manufacturing and engineering.
- Basis computer skills with the ability to expand your knowledge.
- A willingness to learn and an openness to be taught.
- While not the determining factor, real experience with precision measuring equipment and knowledge of laying out parts for inspection is a huge plus.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Using precision tools to verify those parts and assemblies meet defined specifications.
- Inspecting to verify FAI's and assisting with PPAP's.
- Quick response to quality issues on production lines.
- Monitoring, conducting, and recording inspection results in a computer-based system.
- Productive interaction with coworkers to prevent defects.
- Helping make our processes better and more effective.
- Work to understand how the business runs and think like an owner!
If this sounds like a job you'd enjoy, apply today! We're excited to meet candidates who take pride in their work and want to be part of a great team.
