Job Summary:
Napleton Volvo is seeking a highly skilled and certified Automotive Technician specializing in Volvo vehicles to join our team in Schererville, Indiana. This is a full-time individual contributor role with a competitive salary of $41.4 to $48 per hour, paid weekly. As a Volvo certified technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair services on Volvo vehicles, ensuring their safety, performance, and longevity. You will work with a team of experienced technicians and have access to state-of-the-art equipment and resources to provide top-quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on Volvo vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify and troubleshoot problems
- Complete repairs in a timely manner and ensure all work is done to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Communicate with Service Advisors and customers to explain repairs and any additional services needed
- Document all services and repairs accurately and maintain organized records of work performed
- Keep up-to-date on industry advancements and apply new techniques and technologies to improve efficiency and quality of work
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Volvo certification or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Volvo Automotive Technician in dealership.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
