About the Job
We are looking for an automotive technician capable of diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues by inspecting, testing, and maintaining various mechanical and electrical systems, including engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical components, to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety, while utilizing diagnostic equipment and repair information to identify problems and performing repairs according to manufacturer specifications. We also focus only on German automobiles.

- Using diagnostic tools to identify problems within a vehicle's systems, such as drive ability malfunctions, electrical faults, computer/data bus and infotainment problems.
- Mechanical system diagnosis, such as, NVH(Noise, Harshness, Vibration) from driveline, steering, suspension, braking systems, etc.
Repairs:
- Performing repairs on various vehicle components like replacing worn parts, fixing leaks, adjusting alignments, and performing necessary maintenance tasks.
Preventative Maintenance: Completing routine maintenance checks with the use of a DVI system.
Test Drives: Conducting safe test drives to verify repairs and diagnose issues.
Service Advisor Communication: Explaining repair needs to advisors so that all of the proper information can be explained to the customer and the necessary parts ordered to complete the repair in timely fashion.
Documentation: Documenting all aspects of vehicle issues, damage and needed repairs on the workorder.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair manuals.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Compensation:
- Compensation will be hourly pay and paid weekly.
- Pay will be a base pay based on ability with a bonus based on production or company gross profit.
