About the Job
Questar is looking for a highly motivated Global Technical Support Engineer to join our Technical support Team.
As an Experienced Technical Support engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers by providing top-notch technical assistance for our software and hardware products. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, offering expert guidance, and contributing to the overall customer support experience, improve processes and implement new support tools.
You will work closely with R&D, engineering, customer operation, IT, and Product teams.
Location: Our office in LIVONIA, USA. Hybrid work is possible
Your D2D will include:
- Research and identify solutions to network, software, and hardware issues our customer’s encounter.
- Deeply understand customer processes and usability of our services
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems related to our software and hardware products, understanding the customer's environment and configuration.
- Provide prompt and effective technical support to customers via various channels while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our software and hardware products, features, updates, and best practices to effectively assist customers.
- Build and maintain the center knowledge & write training materials.
- Properly escalate and analyze unresolved issues to internal teams (R&D, product)
- Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers/account managers.
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with our customers and partners to ensure their needs are met.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with other teams, such as product, engineering, and sales, to ensure that support issues are effectively addressed and resolved.
A good fit would be:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Technical Support Engineer in global environment
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working in a software and hardware company.
- Fluent English & Spanish
- Experience in working the Automotive/Fleet management industry – big advantage
- Strong knowledge of software and hardware troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Problem-solving skills and a strong customer-centric mindset.
