We are seeking an innovative, hard-working, honest and personable Assistant Service Manager who can excel in a high-volume operation by optimizing profitability and customer satisfaction. SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Dispatch work daily to Technicians so they can be efficient
- Maintain a Come back Log and update daily
- Maintain Tech hours on a daily basis and keep them motivated
- Make sure each Technician hits there weekly hours
- Monitor all shop equipment for operation and safety concerns
- Assist Service Director in Technician Training and Scheduling
- Maintains Technician schedule and approved time off
- The Service Director will be the final decision on time off
- Will assist if a technician needs guidance on a particular job.
- Does periodic quality checks on completed vehicles
- Make sure promise times are met for customers
- Ensures the shop is kept clean and free of dangerous or hazardous materials
- Road test customer vehicles when needed
- Must turn/produce at least 15 hours per week

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- No prior experience or training.
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Salary: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year inclusive of commission
