Job Summary:
Nissan of Merrimack Valley is seeking highly skilled, motivated, and experienced Automotive Service Technicians to join our team in Chelmsford, MA. As a key member in our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines and standards. We are looking for technicians at all levels, from entry-level to master technicians, to provide the highest quality of service to our customers. This is a full-time, hourly position with the opportunity for career growth and advancement within our dealership.

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests to determine vehicle issues and provide accurate repair recommendations
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Repair and replace parts, components, and systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension
- Use appropriate tools and equipment to complete repairs based on manufacturer guidelines
- Communicate and collaborate with service advisors and customers to explain necessary repairs and additional recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and tools
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Automotive technical training or certification preferred
- Previous experience as an automotive service technician preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Ability to accurately diagnose and repair vehicles based on manufacturer guidelines
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
