Job Description

Empire Automotive Group Chevrolet of Huntington: Service Sales Consultant
A strong first impression with customers is an essential part of the automotive process. In this roll you will provide a friendly, helpful voice to our service customers providing them with finance or lease options for their current cars. This salary/commission position has a five day work cycle (8am to 5pm) including weekends and holidays.

Your Daily Work Schedule:

• You will contact service customers via phone, text or email setting appointments to review options and opportunities for their vehicles.
• You will maintain strong knowledge base of all new vehicle makes and models becoming an expert on your industry.
• You have at least two years selling experience and have learned to overcome objections and thrive within the sales situation.
• You will create a positive buying experience for the customer by Interacting and consulting to guide them through their vehicle purchase creating a lifelong customer. 
• You will test drive vehicles to demonstrate automotive features.
• You will make daily phone calls, follow up with existing and potential customers to generate appointments and close sales.
• You will reach out to customers to make sure they have had an exceptional experience at the dealership, addressing any immediate issues with a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.

• You have experience providing outstanding customer service by showcasing expertise, fostering trust, and growing customer satisfaction.
• You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• You understand the importance of listening and being empathetic.
• You have a strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• You have at least one year of prior employment effectively communicating with customers face-to-face or telephone contact.
• You have friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude.
• You are open to constructive feedback to improve your performance and development.
• You have strong computer and multitasking skills using various provided computer programs as selling tools.
• You will operate a clean, organized, presentable workplace with a strong attention to details. 
• Protecting customer’s information while collecting, and transcribing data to complete paperwork.
• You have shown stability in the job industry, growing in each position you worked.
• You have a valid and clean NY state driver’s license.
