About the Job
We are partnered with a locally owned and operated automotive repair company who is actively looking to grow their already established team with an Automotive Service Manager. This company prides themselves on their reputation and their commitment to delivering the highest quality service to their customers.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years minimum experience in an automotive repair
- Ability to learn quickly
- Computer savvy
- Strong customer service skills
- Good understanding of human resources
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, high level of motivation and energy
- Strong leadership skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be a well-organized, multi-tasker who acts with a sense of urgency
Responsibilities
- Supervising the service department
- Working with upper-management and HR to meet staffing/hiring needs for the service department
- Overseeing administration of warranty claims
- Ordering parts
- Delegating work amongst the technicians
- Maintaining shop morale, improving efficiency & productivity where needed
