Job Summary:
McDonough Hyundai is seeking a highly motivated and customer service-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in McDonough, Georgia. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have a positive experience at our dealership by providing exceptional customer service and handling all their automotive service needs. This is a full-time position with a base salary plus commission structure in the auto industry.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Automotive Service Advisor role at McDonough Hyundai offers a competitive compensation package of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, along with biweekly pay. In addition to base salary, the service advisor will have the opportunity to earn commission through service sales, customer satisfaction, and other bonus opportunities. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and development.
Responsibilities:
• Greet customers and perform initial assessment of their vehicle's service needs
• Act as a liaison between the customer and our service technicians
• Discuss recommended services and provide accurate cost estimates to customers
• Schedule and manage appointments for service maintenance and repairs
• Notify customers of any additional repairs or services required and obtain their approval before proceeding
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of all customer interactions and service orders
• Keep up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and dealership policies
• Maintain a professional and customer-friendly attitude at all times
• Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas and customer satisfaction goals
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure service operations run efficiently and effectively
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training preferred
• At least 2 years of experience working in customer service, preferably in the automotive industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent sales and negotiation abilities
• Proficient in using computer software systems, such as Microsoft Office and dealership management systems
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
