We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Manager to join our Manufacturing team. This position will play a vital role in maintaining the high-quality standards of our automotive products. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control, ensuring adherence to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards. This role also requires the ability to build strong client relationships, interact effectively with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals.
2. Supervise a team of Quality personnel to ensure that all products meet quality criteria.
3. Oversee the investigation of customer complaints regarding quality and take appropriate corrective action.
4. Coordinate with suppliers and customers relating to quality trends, performance, and corrective actions.
5. Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as 5S Lean/Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.
6. Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation, particularly IATF 16949 and AS/ISO 9001.
7. Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
8. Provide detailed reports on quality metrics, findings, and improvements to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an automotive quality management role.
3. In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards, with a strong analytical background.
4. Proven experience with IATF 16949, AS/ISO 9001, 5S Lean/Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong client relationships and interact effectively with stakeholders.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills.
7. Proficient in data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
8. Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
