The Parts Counterperson will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the parts department by performing various tasks, including selling, receiving, packing, shipping, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Automotive Parts Counterperson Responsibilities:
- Essential Duties:
- Sales: Sells parts to customers at the counter, through the shop, or over the telephone..
- Customer Service: Assists customers in identifying and selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Inventory Management: Manages inventory, places and fulfills orders, and ensures stock replenishment.
- Order Processing: Handles telephone calls, provides price quotes, and processes orders.
- Recordkeeping: Maintains orderly records of all transactions, invoices, and special-order parts.
- Other duties as assigned
Automotive Parts Counterperson Requirements:
- Knowledge: Must have a good understanding of vehicle parts and their functions.
- Skills: Should possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience: Experience in parts sales or a related field is beneficial.
- Experience with inventory management systems is a plus
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Possess a willingness to adapt to changes in warehouse processes and procedures
- Must pass pre-employment background screenings
