Position Overview:
The Main Line Technician will diagnose and perform maintenance work on all vehicle makes and models, maintain service tools and equipment, perform vehicle pre-delivery inspections, and perform additional duties requested by the Service Manager.
Who You Are:
- 2+ years of experience as an automotive service technician with experience in diagnosing and performing maintenance work on all makes and models of vehicles
- Quality is a focus, and you can follow processes to ensure customer satisfaction
- A team player who is process-oriented with the ability to work independently, as a team with fellow lube techs, express lane advisors, & other store personnel
- Enjoy problem-solving and are passionate about staying educated and learning new technology
- Previous work history reflects commitment and stability
- High sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities
Essential Functions:
- Diagnose and perform maintenance work on all makes and models of vehicles
- Perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning
- Perform vehicle pre-delivery inspections
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems
- Maintain service tools and equipment (tire machines, welders, grinders, air compressors, air reels, battery chargers, jacks, A/C machines, etc.)
- Wash vehicle exterior using cleaning solution, wax, water, cloths, and brushes
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in diagnosing and performing maintenance work on all makes and models of vehicles
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
- Pass a pre-employment background check and a drug screen for illegal substances
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
