About the Job
The Automotive Internet Director must consistently and profitably meet vehicle sales quotas through expert management and leadership of the sales team and by forecasting sales and maintaining proper inventory levels in terms of amount and vehicle types. In addition, the Automotive Internet Director primary responsibilities will include managing outbound email, text, and phone call activities, as well as utilizing your CRM expertise to enhance customer engagement and drive sales. Hires,trains,motivates,counsel and monitors the performance of all internet sales employees.
The ideal candidate has some post-secondary education (degree, coursework, certification, etc.), at least two years of experience in a large-volume dealership, and some supervisory or management experience. He or she must have a strong business acumen and sales aptitude and a willingness to accept full accountability for sales targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong leadership and motivational skills are essential.

Responsibilities:- Meet monthly forecast for sales volume sustaining sufficient gross to meet profit objectives.
- The successful candidate will be expected to consistently meet and exceed benchmarks for personal outbound activity, as set by the General Manager. This role requires a proactive and results-driven approach, with a focus on achieving and surpassing the established targets. Ex 500 outbound emails per month
- Execute outbound email, text, and phone call campaigns to engage and nurture leads.
- Follow up on daily CRM objectives with the current sales staff.
- Assist in closing deals if necessary.
- Enhance customer satisfaction during the entire purchase experience
- Working knowledge and importance of online reputation
- Other duties may be assigned by management.
- Implements and monitors a follow-up system for internet purchasers.
- Maintains an accurate daily log that reflects all sales activities in the dealership.
- Assists individual internet salespeople in setting aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives and provides them with the support to meet these goals.
- Conducts daily and weekly sales meetings.
- 2 + years of Automotive Sales Management preferred.( GM Brand a PLUS!!)
- Internet Sales experience with verifiable proof of meeting sales targets.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environmen.t
- Outgoing personality and willing to work with the public on a daily basis.
- Proficient at operation a personal computer including Microsoft Office: Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Strong take charge leadership attitude with a record of team building to include recruiting, training and motivating.
- Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written.
