Automotive Engineering Technician - SpeakEZ Virtual Solutions LLC

Our client is seeking to hire an Automotive Engineering Technician for a 6-month contract

Position Description:

Confirms control system functionality, including appropriate safety compliance, by designing and/or executing test procedures.

Prepares and/or reviews electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls drawings; collaborates with related engineering teams to evaluate components, materials, and suppliers.

Ensures integrity of process and build data collection.

Provides information to manufacturing, process, and other engineering disciplines by answering questions and requests.

Keeps equipment operating by performing periodic audits; troubleshooting breakdowns; requesting supplies; defining and reviewing preventive maintenance plans; calling for repairs; and implementing process improvements.

Maintains project documents using approved methodology, tools, and templates.

Manages supplier development and delivery.

Skills Required:

Troubleshooting, pneumatic, preventive maintenance planning, hydraulic, heat induction knowledge.

Experience Required

Must have a minimum of five plus years’ experience with electrical controls within an automotive environment.

Education Required

High school diploma, bachelor’s not needed.

Additional Information

Steel toe, FR uniform, safety glasses, ear plugs.

Onsite 100%.

Shift: 1st, 6AM/7AM-3PM/4PM 1st shift, M-F, every other weekend.

MUST HAVE:

High school diploma

5+ years of experience with electrical controls within an automotive environment.

Experience in troubleshooting pneumatic, preventive maintenance planning, hydraulic.

Working knowledge of heat induction.
