Automotive Electrician at Manpower

Our client, a leader in vehicle technology, is seeking an Automotive Electrician to join their Installation Team. As an Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing a vehicle's electrical systems and wiring. This is a DIRECT HIRE position, and a resume is required to apply.

Job Title: Automotive Electrician

Location: Montgomery, AL

Pay Range: $40,000 - $45,000 a year

What's the Job?

• Disassemble and reinstall automotive trim with precision to avoid any damage.
• Perform factory-quality installations of perimeter lighting, lightbars, siren controllers, speakers, and sound systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, installation diagrams, and instructions accurately.
• Conduct high-quality installations of push bumpers, vehicle partitions, storage boxes, computer docking stations, and other police vehicle equipment.
• Possess a solid understanding of DC voltage and expertise in installing 12-volt DC-powered equipment, including lighting, siren controllers, speakers, relays, controllers, sound systems, computer equipment, and battery chargers.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with installation tools, including wire strippers, crimpers, socket sets, wrenches, pliers, cutters, electric drivers, drills, and ratchets.
• Ability to stand and bend throughout the workday, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in non-air-conditioned or outdoor environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
