Job Details
As an Automotive Claims Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing the entire claims process, from initial report to final resolution, ensuring all claims are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Implementing and managing risk management strategies to minimize financial loss to the company.
3. Ensuring all claims activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
4. Collaborating with other departments, such as finance and legal, to ensure a comprehensive approach to risk management.
5. Managing and developing a team of claims professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
6. Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to compliance regulations.
7. Analyzing claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and implementing action plans based on findings.
8. Liaising with external parties, such as insurers and legal representatives, to negotiate claims settlements.
9. Providing regular reports to senior management on claims status and risk management strategies.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in automotive claims management, preferably within the automotive industry.
2. Strong knowledge of claims processes, risk management strategies, and compliance regulations.
3. Proven experience in managing a team, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
4. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
5. Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successful claims settlements.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey complex information.
7. A degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field if preferred but not required.
8. Professional certification in claims management or risk management is a plus.
9. Proficiency in using claims management software and other relevant computer applications.
