AUTOMOTIVE BILLING CLERK
Lexus of Cool Springs/Lexus of Nashville has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Automotive Billing Clerk to join our team. This position handles all facets of billing of vehicle deals. The ideal candidate must have the ability to read and interpret sales contracts, tag and title documents, warranties and other deal-related documents. Must be well-versed in schedule clean-up. Must have a basic understanding of sales tax calculations for automotive sales. Must have the ability to communicate problems in a concise manner and have the organizational skills to follow up on problems.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, independent, work well under pressure, and have a solid background in accounting. Reynolds and Reynolds and 2 years of automotive billing experience preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and process deal paperwork and verify compliance.
- Post vehicle sales and purchases.
- Prepare checks for payoffs, referrals, refunds, purchases, etc.
- Costing and finalizing deals to accounting while verifying profit/loss.
- Prepare, submit and monitor funding of bank contracts.
- Purify schedules and ledger.
- Calculate Sales Payroll.
- Read and interpret documents.
- Effectively present information to customers or dealership personnel.
- Maintain reports and/or logs of daily new and used deal activity.
- Work under pressure in a fast paced, high volume atmosphere.
- Ability to multitask.
- Perform various other accounting responsibilities and business requirements as assigned.
Accuracy, timeliness and a sense of urgency is critical in this position. Ability to calculate figures and apply mathematical concepts. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with our clients, our vendors and team members. Position requires the ability to analyze information and understand how to effectively resolve issues.
All applicants must be at least 19 years old, and able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test and valid driver's license.
