Central Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram is hiring now for a ‘Hands-on’ Assistant Service Manager / Dispatcher / Assistant to run our busy, state-of-the-art Service Center! The ideal candidate must be experienced, organized, highly motivated, and have a diplomatic leadership style. Responsibilities - Assistant Service Manager / Dispatcher / Assistant:
- Hires and manages Technicians, Service Advisors, and support personnel
- Generates revenue, communicates clearly with customers, explains vehicle maintenance services as well as auto repair, develops estimates and quotes, and focuses on customer satisfaction.
- Organizes and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner
- Implements and maintains an effective dispatch system
- Schedules shop work to facilitate maximum productivity in accordance with dealership policy and the technician skill level required
- Generates repeat customers and provides resolutions of customer concerns.
- Maintains customer service records in the computer system.
- Creates work schedules and maintains proper accounting of Service Technicians' productivity
- Oversees employee training and development
- Ensures a safe working environment
- Ensures equipment is properly maintained and repaired
Qualifications/Requirements - Assistant Service Manager / Dispatcher / Assistant:
- Assistant Service Manager or Service Advisor experience preferred
- We will also consider Service Technicians, Service Advisors, Assistant Service Managers with 3+ years’ experience
- CJDR dealership experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of warranty procedures, work schedules, etc.
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must have supervisory experience and leadership skills
- Basic understanding of business management
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
