Victorville Motors is seeking a Curious and Self-Motivated AutomotiveAccountant who has a strong analytical sense and who wants to build a career as an expert automotive accounting professional.
The Automotive Accountant performs a variety of general accounting and clerical support tasks related to contracts, reconciling statements, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc.
This person must have at least 2+ years of Automotive Accounting experience. Having a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or similar field a Plus.

Responsibilities:- Handle Monthly and Quarterly reports.
- General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Bank Reconciliations.
- General Office tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, processing mail, filing, etc.
- Update and maintain accounting database with data entry and reports.
- Compile data for ad hoc reporting.
- Performs Accounting functions in the correct sequential order.
- Monitor office and inventory supplies.
- Organize lists of inventory and supplies for future ordering needs/locations of order etc.
- Expense Analysis.
- Manage Excel spreadsheets.
- All other duties as assigned by executives.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently on assigned duties.
- Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Experience with Accounts Payable and Receivables.
- Automotive Contract Clerk experience necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent Computer skills including but not limited to (excel, word, power point, outlook, etc.).
- Ability to multi-task with an appropriate sense of urgency.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills.
WORK/EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience in the Automotive Industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or similar field a Plus.
