Job Summary: We are seeking a strong individual with the right virtue and talent to join our team. The purpose of this job is to provide electrical control support for the plant.
Main Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe working environment, adhere to safety principles, and maintain accepted housekeeping standards.
Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains electrical / electronic systems, circuits and equipment.
Trouble-shoots PLC's and relay logic controls
Terminates wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools
Installs conduit, pulling wire and cable
Assists electricians and electronic technicians with various tasks
Adheres to all safety requirements including lockout / tagout procedures
Performs work as a team member to assist in the completion of assigned tasks
Performs work on multiple heights / levels
Regularly perform preventative maintenance projects and assignments
Comply with all safety rules, company rules and guidelines
Demonstrate excellent attendance
Willing to work overtime and willing to work on any shift as required
Must have a good understanding of AC (110-240-460 Electrical Circuits)
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
• Demonstrated experience in trouble-shooting PLC's and industrial electronics.
• Must also be able to repair high-speed equipment and able to wire and trouble-shoot 3-phase motor control circuits.
• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
• Must have 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Ideally, have completed an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the area of specialty.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand or walk on concrete floor for 8+ hours and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Requires hand, arm back, and leg strength; also, bending and squatting ability
• Must have eye, foot, and hand coordination, and be able to do repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine motor manipulation
Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures and perform work indoors/outdoors as needed
