Pay based on experience starting at $35/hr.

Does this sound like you?

PLC's - You understand them, can program, troubleshoot and diagnose issues with them.
You're a leader who can provide technical support to other technicians in the facility.
You can use the correct tools, (DVM, multimeter, software and custom cables) to identify root cause of electrical issues in the facility.
You know how to read and interpret schematics and user manuals.
You can troubleshoot process issues with automation software,
You can troubleshoot hardware, issues with PLCs and touch screens.
You can maintain and perform PMs according to schedule.
You use advanced network troubleshooting to diagnose control networking issues
You work well as a team with IT to troubleshoot and maintain automation servers.
If there isn't a user manual and training documentation, you will be able to create it, organize it and manage it.

The Automation Technician for Maintenance provides day-to-day electronic, electrical, and mechanical support for the Aurora manufacturing facility. The role of this position is to be a technical resource for solving maintenance reliability issues and provide some project management for projects supported by the maintenance department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Work in a fast-paced environment, responding appropriately to changing priorities.
Respectfully interact with a diverse group of people.
Adhere to safe work practices, complete monthly safety audits/observations, follow GMP’s, maintain clean conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect safety.
Effectively communicate the status of issues and projects with management, vendors, peers and production personnel.
Provide technical leadership and support for electrical and instrumentation technicians at the facility.
Use the appropriate tools (e.g. dvm, multimeter, software, custom cables) to troubleshoot and diagnose the root cause of issues in the facility.
Maintain and perform equipment according to PM and schedule.

High school diploma/GED required.
Must demonstrate ability to problem solve and multi-task.
