Position: Automation Technician
Scope: The technician's role is to align electrical and electronic industry standards to enhance equipment reliability and performance with a focus on workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and corrective maintenance to improve safety, efficiency, and production output.
- Examine, service, and repair motor control systems (low and medium voltage).
- Perform preventative care and diagnostics on motor drive systems.
- Utilize PLC interfaces to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Identify and address electrical faults to minimize downtime and boost productivity.
Requirements:
- Open to a rotating shift.
- Education:
- Associate degree in Electrical or Electronics Technology, military training in electronics, or a high school diploma combined with 3+ years of experience in electronic maintenance and repair.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E/NEC safety codes.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
