Background in cGMP manufacturing operations and support, including solid knowledge or GMP regulations. Background in ITIL best practices Experienced in cybersecurity standards and best practices. Solid understanding of PLs, DCSs, HMIs, SCADA systems, SQL, virtual machines, and network infrastructure design, testing and support. Experiences with integrated manufacturing systems English proficiency, spoken and written. Proficient with computer terminology and education of others. Experience in project management, expert at planning, organizing, and time management. Proficient with mathematical calculations, complex data analysis, and problem-solving.

Additional Guidelines :
- Supports a 24/7 operation Must be capable of lifting, sitting, standing, walking, and bending. Able to work in gown room conditions in a GMP environment. Overtime may be required. At different times of the year, this position will work long hours for scheduled manufacturing shutdown periods and, throughout the year, may be required to work late with little notice as the need arises when GMP equipment is down.
- Support the operation and repair of manufacturing equipment.
- Support the operation and repair of control systems.
- Provide off-shift and on-call support as needed.
- Provide operational support as needed in GMP production operations areas.
- Support Reliability Engineering.
- Responsible for Periodic review of the Automation Systems.
- Responsible for ensuring various user access levels have appropriate, documented training and authorization to access managed computer systems.
- Responsible for managing the regulatory aspect of the site's networked engineering data collection and monitoring and SCADA systems.
- Responsible for the implementation of compliance initiatives.
- Responsible for monitoring system security procedures and practices, review of audit trails, and system logs for compliance.
- Design and Implementation support for functional and process changes.
- Responsible for ensuring that automation standards are followed for all engineering initiatives.
- Assist others in evaluating current processes, equipment, and data.
- Provide Automation guidance and training to other functional groups.
- Author and/or review GMP design documentation for project and process changes.
- Support GMP FAT/Commissioning/Qualification activities as required.
- Responsible for ensuring backup/archival/restoration work as intended and follows defined procedures.
- Develop and maintain hardware and software standards for automation equipment in a GMP facility.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for automation equipment in a GMP facility.
- Responsible for System Administration functions for all SCADA, Data Historians, and Engineering software applications.
- Responsible for System Administration for Automation Systems, including Microsoft Active Directory.
- Responsible for maintaining manufacturing-level networks and process I/O's in a GMP manufacturing facility.
