Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technicians to join their manufacturing team on 2nd shift for direct hire. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment through expert machine repairs, engaging in fabrication projects, and executing comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute preventive maintenance (PM) tasks as scheduled by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Conduct basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
- Utilize machining tools such as lathes, mills, drill presses, and bandsaws for various machining operations.
- Undertake fabrication projects employing welding techniques and bolted assembly to support equipment functionality and improvement projects.
- Accurately record work activities, maintenance findings, and solutions implemented within the CMMS to maintain a comprehensive history of machine maintenance.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas and the maintenance shop through daily housekeeping and adherence to 5S principles.
- Uphold and practice the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor, contributing to the overall success of the maintenance team.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across maintenance and other departmental teams.
- High attention to detail, accuracy in work, and commitment to completing scheduled tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A clear understanding of the maintenance organization's role and function within a manufacturing environment.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Technical certification or a minimum of two (2) years of equivalent experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing setting.

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
