Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Understand and thorough analysis of the requirements, design documents, data sources, mapping rules to identify the testable conditions
- Ability to validate ETLs, test data mapping rules, data transformation and provide test results and insights
- Ability to validate ETLs, test data mapping rules, data transformation and provide test results and insights
- Preferable to have a background on Payment systems, ACH knowledge
- Document Test Strategies and create test plans.
- Participate in all functional testing including static, system and system integration
- Create test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test the logic, rules and verify system flow
- Responsible for delivery of test conditions/cases/scenarios & results
- Participate in all aspects of test automation including initial assessment of Automation, Proof-of-Concept, scripting, execution and maintenance
- Thorough analysis of test requirements and test cases using structured techniques to identify those suitable for automation
- Create test automation frameworks to ensure stability, efficiency and scalability in the automated solution
- Review automated test scripts and code to ensure alignment with standards Execute tests and analyze test results to differentiate issues with the AUT from automation issues
- Review maintenance work to automation packs to ensure that test scripts are in line with the current version of the AUT
- Timely Status/Metrics reporting to project management and senior management
- Work closely with offshore team members to deliver projects to time, cost and quality requirements
- Support test manager in estimation and planning activities
- Identify test scenarios and test data
- Record and track defects to closure
- Excellent knowledge of manual testing practices & experience in the Automation testing on tools like QTP, UFT
- Any experience on Fraud detection tools like Actimize Essentials would be a plus.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in manual testing or related discipline and additional automation testing
- Excellent knowledge of automated testing, tooling and associated programming language
- Hands on scripting knowledge is mandatory
- Strong interpersonal, client service, communication, and organizations and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and react appropriately in a crisis situation.
- The ability to create and deliver presentations as necessary
- Ability to understand and integrate with cultural differences and engage with virtual cross-cultural, cross-border teams
- English language skills excellent written and verbal communication Analytical/Decision making responsibilities
- Adopt a logical and organized approach to problem resolution and solution delivery
- Proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options
- Ability to prioritize personal workloads to best meet organizational objectives
