Job Title: Automation Field Service TechnicianLocation: Shakopee, MN (Hybrid) Zip Code: 55379Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Contract Keywords: #AutomationJobs #FieldServicesTechnicianjobs #agriculturemaintenancejobsJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* Assist customers with inquiries regarding equipment types, specifications, and operation.* Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and automation issues remotely and on site.* Travel to customer sites to install, check out, calibrate, and provide training on equipment.* Troubleshoot and programming PLC's - Allen Bradley and GE.* Troubleshoot, functional understanding of VFD - Variable Frequency Drives. * Test and troubleshoot equipment both locally and at customer sites.* Assist site general contractors during the installation and start-up of industrial treating systems.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Associate's Degree in a related field plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma or equivalent plus 6 years of relevant experience.* Experience working with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), specifically Allen Bradley and Emerson systems.* Solid understanding of VFD (Variable Frequency Drives) functions, operations, troubleshooting, and programming.* Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and automation issues.* Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, machine drawings, and interpreting complex specifications.* Strong ability to troubleshoot wiring and conduct Input/Output checks.* Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical process systems.* Familiarity with the proper use of tools necessary for troubleshooting, repairing, or assembling equipment systems.* Willingness to travel 90% of the timeIf you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
