Who we are looking for / Requirements:
The Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting control systems in an industrial environment as well as the design, programming and configuration of DCS systems, PLCs, SCADA and related software. Additionally, will provide technical support to customers, develop technical documents, and participate in project management and project coordination. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for the development and implementation of automation strategies for industrial process control systems. Will be required to have a working knowledge of industrial control systems, and be able to communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Education:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science or Bio-Process Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant automation life science manufacturing experience.
What you will do / Responsibilities: As a shift automation engineer, the following are expected to form the overall job description:
Work on incident management, service request management, problem management, and change management areas.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, presentation, and computer skills. Willing to work in a team-based environment and exchange technical information with management, technical support personnel, and equipment vendors.
Execute IQ, OQ for Control Systems Development and Enhancements.
Develop system validation documentation and ensure system validation compliance.
Manage and update system documentation including SOPs.
Create and manage application-specific knowledge management.
Programming of various Control Systems applications and HMIs.
Design, program, and configure DeltaV systems, PLCs, SCADA and related software.
Provide technical support to customers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Develop technical documents, including design specifications, user manuals, and operational procedures.
Develop and implement automation strategies for industrial process control systems.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing control systems.
Participate in project management and project coordination.
Monitor and analyze system performance.
Ensure regulatory compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
Utilize best practices, standards and procedures related to automation systems.
Maintain and update knowledge of evolving automation technologies.
