Job Details
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a professional who is passionate about robotics, SCADA, process automation, control systems design, industrial automation, and systems integration. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, able to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, and be able to innovate and adapt in an ever-evolving industry.
As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Designing, programming, simulating, and testing automated machinery and processes to complete exact tasks.
2. Identifying opportunities for automation within software processes.
3. Developing and maintaining the control systems that make automated systems function.
4. Designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA systems.
5. Working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers, and other internal staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
6. Ensuring the latest technologies and automation capabilities are considered and incorporated where applicable.
7. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with automation and control systems.
8. Providing detailed documentation upon project completion.
9. Participating in project meetings and providing updates on progress and challenges.
10. Ensuring safety and efficiency in all automation projects.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Automation Engineer position must have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the engineering industry, with a focus on automation.
3. Proficient knowledge of SCADA, robotics, process automation, control systems design, industrial automation, and systems integration.
4. Strong understanding of automated systems and software.
5. Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in testing automated machines and systems.
6. Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
9. A proactive approach to work, with a strong drive to improve existing systems and processes.
10. Ability to understand and follow complex technical instructions.
