Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Automation Developer/Analyst to support the Technology Governance Office for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in lower Manhattan, NY. Hybrid – 2 days in office per week.

The role will serve as an Analyst in the Technology Governance Office, supporting business as usual and new IT remediation activities for Markets and Enterprise Technology. The work related to this role is typically regulatory driven in nature. This person will serve as an Analyst, focusing heavily on automation initiatives.

Responsibilities :
The role will serve as an Analyst in the Technology Governance Office, supporting business as usual and new IT remediation activities for Markets and Enterprise Technology. - Design and implement automated processes to enhance efficiencies throughout the team. For example, building a SharePoint workflow automation capability to email alerts when certain conditions are met.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop solutions, while managing expectations of key stakeholders
- Provide ongoing support for teams managing these solutions
- Use data visualization tools to create reports for senior management and committees. For example, build an Issue Tracking report that compiles issues from across the group; plus building a repository of resolved issues for historical purposes.
- Escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to management
- Maintain appropriate documentation and evidence throughout the automation process
Required Skills :
- 3+ years' experience in Technology Automation as a process designer and developer
- Ability to gather business requirements and convert those requirements into technical products
- Expert knowledge of SharePoint and workflow tools
- Skilled with PowerApps, PowerPlatform, PowerBI, Microsoft Access, Excel VBA/Macros
- Excellent Word, Excel, and PowerPoint presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize and work simultaneously on various tasks, independently and to completion
- Experience managing nontechnical stakeholders and communicating realistic timelines and priorities
- Attentive to detail
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Demonstrable experience with business/technical analysis and development activities
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with IT within a financial institution
