Automatic Setup Mechanic - Nesco Resource

Nesco Resource is now hiring 1st shift Maintenance Technicianat aManufacturer in Gastonia.

Requirements: 

• Set up, maintain, and operate (when required) each automatic brush machine.
• Make complete, complex setups of each automatic machine including trouble-shooting each machine in the event of a malfunction.
• Check raw materials (weights and quantities) prior to running brushes.
• Check overall quality of brushes on an on-going basis to insure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Possess a clear understanding of all pertinent paperwork including shop orders and applicable blueprints.
• Train and work with machine operators to ensure optimum quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• The immediate supervisor may assign additional miscellaneous responsibilities as required.
• Performs installation and repair of machinery and equipment
• Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.
• Performing mechanical preventative maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
• Performs building maintenance, and installation of electrical, plumbing, etc.
• Operates machines and do welding as required to make parts for repairs and installations.
• Inspects, maintains and documents all hazardous materials on premises.

• Ability to work overtime on the weekend as business conditions indicate.
• Ability to work well in teams.
• Ability to communicate with urgency to team leader / supervisor.
