The Automated Pouching Machine Utility supports the operation and maintenance of pouching machines, ensuring efficient production and high-quality output. This role assists machine operators, performs basic maintenance, and ensures the cleanliness and safety of the work area.
Key Responsibilities
- Support machine operators during setup, operation, and changeovers. Help with threading film, adjusting machine settings, and loading materials
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on pouching machines. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving minor machine issues
- Monitor the production process to ensure products meet quality standards. Conduct periodic checks and report any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including material usage and machine performance, using manufacturing reporting software and hardware
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations. Ensure the work area is clean and free of hazards
- Work closely with machine operators, maintenance staff, and other team members to ensure smooth production processes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-1 years of previous experience
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic mechanical tasks and routine maintenance
- Familiarity with manufacturing software and hardware for production reporting
- Ability to operate powered lift equipment
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to operate basic hand tools and measuring devices
