About the Job
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, or Finance transformation.
- Experience with financial data systems architecture and controls, including working with financial statements and journal entries.
- Experience in accounting with financial statements, journal entries and financial data systems architecture and controls.
- Experience navigating datasets and pipelines, as well as data sets in SQL and BigQuery.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and audits.
- Experience with SAP or ordering, bookings, and business recognition systems.
- Experience managing internal controls.
- Understanding of GAAP accounting principles (predominantly business recognition).

Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and design efforts to further enhance financial data systems or processes. Leverage finance and accounting expertise to translate systems feedback from end users into actionable and prioritized requirements for engineering.
- Execute robust change management, including moderating operating committee forums to keep executive and cross-functional systems decision-makers informed of roadmaps and project statuses. development and testing outcomes, and production support issues.
- Work with Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Operational teams to establish system control requirements during technical design and testing of the control functionality under the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework.
