Sunset Volkswagen is growing and we will be moving to our newly renovated location on Bee Ridge Rd within the next few weeks! We are in need of an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our elite team. Volkswagen experience and certifications preferred, but we will consider all experience.

VW Service Technician Duties

• Accurately and completely diagnosing any vehicle maintenance or drivability problems
• Performing work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Communicating clearly with the service team including parts associates and service advisors
• Keeping your shop area neat and clean, and ensuring that customer vehicles are kept clean
• Documenting all work performed

VW Service Technician Requirements

As an Automotive Service Technician with Sunset Automotive Group, you must be dependable and ethical with a firm commitment to customer satisfaction. Specific qualifications for the VW Automotive Service Technician position include:

• Basic automotive service experience; Volkswagen experience preferred
• Good diagnostic skills
• Flexibility for all types of work
• Own tools
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to engage in physical work, including heavy lifting
• Basic computer proficiency
• Willingness to continue your education
• ASE and/or Volkswagen certifications preferred
