Absolute Auto Repairs and Sales in Port Matilda, PA is currently seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic with us, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and reliable for our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Determine the cause of vehicle malfunctions and repair them in a timely manner
• Inspect vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs
• Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep detailed records of all work performed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• PA Emissions and Safety Licenses 
• Valid Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred
• Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
