Location: Hatfield, PA
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM (with a 45-minute lunch break)
Hourly Wage: $25.00 to $35.00+ (Based on Skill Level & Experience) + Billable Hour Incentive
About Us:
JS Auto Service, a family-operated independent auto and light truck repair shop established in 1991, is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Automotive Technician to join our team. We take pride in providing reliable and safe repairs and maintenance services to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle operating systems.
- Identify issues and find effective solutions.
- Perform quality repairs and maintenance tasks with precision.
- Explain automotive problems and repairs to customers using our shop tablet.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols (including standard safety practices and safety glasses).
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and industry trends.
- Maintain excellent attendance and support co-workers.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and specialized tools.
- Keep the repair shop clean and organized.
- Participate in in-shop hands-on training.
Requirements:
- ASE Certifications a plus.
- Possess auto repair tools suitable for performing repairs and services at your skill and knowledge level.
- Welding experience or interest is a plus.
- Good physical condition, able to lift 50lbs.
- Immediate availability to start.
