Auto/ Diesel Technician - Brittons Automotive Group LLC

Introduction:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Auto/Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our customers' vehicles. The Auto/Diesel Technician will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems as needed. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as keep a team motivated to ensure the successful operation of business. 

We perform a wide range of repairs on vehicles, but specialize more in diesel powered trucks and motorhomes. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, checking and replacing filters, and inspecting systems for proper operation

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed, including electrical, mechanical, air system, Suspension system, Hydraulic systems, and HVAC systems

• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

• Other duties as assigned with a variety of vehicles

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Auto / Diesel technician or in a similar role

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools

• Knowledge of electrical, Air systems, and HVAC systems

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
