Auto Collision Car Wash/Porter - DARCARS Automotive Group

DARCARS Automotive Group is now seeking a Car Wash/Porter for our Collision Center!

As the Car Wash/Porter you will play an extremely important role in customer satisfaction and the overall continued success of our company. In this role, you are responsible for lot management and will perform various tasks and errands for the collision center.
 

In this role, you'll:

• Conducts business in a professional and ethical manner
• Greet every customer with a smile
• Wash exterior and vacuum interior of vehicles(detailing experience a plus!)
• Assist Estimators and Technicians by moving customer vehicles to and from the shop and anything else they may need assistance with
• Provide shuttle service to customers, when requested
• Reports to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or customers
• Maintains cleanliness of lot area, keeping floor clean and dry, as necessary
• Responsible for garbage removal
• Cleans driveway and walkways, removing debris, ice, and snow, as necessary
• Complies with DARCARS policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

For this role, you'll need:

• Strong communication skills with both customers and DARCARS employees
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service
• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs
• Must have visual acuity that meets Maryland MVA requirements in order to operate company and customer vehicles
• Ability to work outdoors and on your feet for extended periods of time in various weather conditions
• Ability to operate manual transmission is highly preferred
• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background)
