Be one of the driving forces behind designing the data platform that is powering the future of private markets. As a Lead Software Engineer within Aumni's Data Platform team, you will be integral in implementing the data infrastructure and delivering the data backing key to stakeholders across the organization in a secure, stable and scalable way.
Job Responsibilities
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
+ Support design and governance of structure, storage, and flow of data across distributed systems in various cloud environments.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data engineering efforts with business goals and objectives.
+ Evaluate current and new products and services across big data technology paradigm.
+ Actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide data frameworks, tools, and practices in the Software Development Life Cycle.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ Practical experience leading data engineering teams.
+ Practical experience developing data infrastructure of distributed systems using publisher-subscriber technologies.
+ Practical experience building, monitoring and improving ETL/ELT Pipelines and data warehousing solutions.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to senior audience.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage delivery timelines, and ensure our product and organization is on track to meet our goals.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ Experience in Venture Capital/Private Equity
+ Experience with Apache Airflow
+ Experience with Apache Kafka
+ Experience with Snowflake
