Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Go the extra mile to connect with customers and enhance their shopping experience.
- Welcoming Environment: Greet and direct customers upon their arrival, making them feel at home.
- Product Expertise: Provide accurate information about product features, pricing, and after-sales services to help customers make informed decisions.
- Facilitate Purchases: Conduct price and feature comparisons to assist customers in finding the right products.
- Cross-Selling: Suggest complementary products to boost sales and customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Ensure racks are fully stocked and organized for an optimal shopping experience.
- Returns Management: Handle merchandise returns smoothly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with your team during busy periods to maintain outstanding customer service.
- Promote Offers: Keep customers informed about discounts and special promotions that enhance their shopping experience.
- Feedback Gathering: Collect customer insights and relay them to the Store Manager for continuous improvement.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of new products and services to better serve our customers.
- Delivery Excellence: Safely deliver a wide variety of items to different locations, following scheduled routes and maintaining punctuality.
- Vehicle Operations: Load, unload, and operate various delivery vehicles (including Non-CDL dump trucks, flatbeds, loaders, and forklifts) while adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Customer Outreach: Proactively seek feedback on services and promptly resolve any complaints.
Requirements
- Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for long periods and performing physical tasks, including lifting to 70 pounds, stooping, and squatting.
- Driving Skills: Ability to operate commercial vehicles (like Isuzu NRR 650) for daily deliveries.
- Customer Focus: Excellent interpersonal skills to adapt and respond to diverse customer personalities.
- Multi-Tasking Ability: Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Math Proficiency: Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.
- Driver Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and no traffic violations.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Bonus Points For:
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in the outdoor supply industry is a plus!
- Bilingual Skills: Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
- Customer Service Experience: Proven background as a Customer Service Associate or Sales Associate.
- Inventory Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory stocking procedures.
