Title: Auditor
Location: Northeastern United States (Onsite)
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Auditor to perform and manage the full audit cycle, ensuring operational effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with applicable regulations. This role includes developing audit scopes, analyzing data, and recommending risk mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing audits and be skilled in identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full audit cycle, including risk and control management, to ensure operational and financial compliance.
Develop internal audit scopes and annual audit plans.
Analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, historical reports, and workflows.
Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports with detailed findings and recommendations.
Act as an objective advisor to validate processes, ensure compliance, and achieve organizational goals.
Identify operational risks and recommend measures to mitigate them.
Maintain communication with management and relevant committees regarding audit findings.
Conduct follow-up audits to ensure implementation of recommendations.
Stay updated on sector rules, regulations, and best practices to enhance audit processes.
Required Skills:
Proven audit experience, including roles in both large-scale audit firms and private audits.
Strong background in auditing within the manufacturing sector (banking and insurance experience is not applicable).
Ability to analyze and evaluate complex accounting and operational data.
Excellent communication and reporting skills, with attention to detail and process improvement.
Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and performance evaluation tools.

Pay range:$87.5k-$125k/year
