About the Job
We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Audit/Tax Supervisor/Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee a diverse range of tax, audit, and various other assignments, as delegated by senior leadership. This position requires minimal supervision and involves significant responsibilities including supervising and mentoring junior staff, solving problems independently, fostering client relationships, and contributing to the profitability of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
Take primary charge of client engagements from planning to execution, including making decisions on staffing and timing while addressing technical challenges.
Ensure smooth completion of engagements, proactively addressing issues as they arise, and conducting thorough reviews.
Mentor and supervise a team that includes Supervisors, Senior Accountants, and Staff, ensuring their professional development and maintaining a supportive team atmosphere.
Conduct annual performance reviews and manage ongoing performance conversations.
Support the leadership in client expansion efforts by identifying potential clients and participating in networking activities.
Leverage technical expertise to create value-added services for clients.
Enhance the firm's reputation through participation in industry conferences, contributing to publications, and leading training sessions.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional demeanor and excellent service.
Manage personal and team schedules to maximize office profitability.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Proven expertise in accounting and tax regulations.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
High level of intellectual curiosity.
Ability to produce accurate work efficiently and pay close attention to details.
Excellent organizational skills and the capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Openness to constructive feedback and adaptability to change.
Strong team collaboration skills and a professional approach.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and familiar with report writing tools.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred; an advanced degree is a plus.
5-8 years of experience in public accounting, or a similar blend of education and experience.
CPA license is required.
Experience in sectors like Affordable Housing, Community Development, and Renewable Energy Tax Credits is beneficial but not mandatory.
