Job Details
Primary Job Duties:
- Work with other accountants, managers, and partners on a variety of client engagements
- Plan, direct, and review all phases of an engagement, including producing timely deliverables
- Commit to becoming an expert in the niche industries in which you work to provide management advisory and consulting services
- Prepare engagement workpapers, financial statements including footnotes and other reports
- Perform research and apply creative, effective solutions in accordance with accounting and auditing standards
- Foster relationships with client personnel responsible for accounting matters
- Prioritize and review the work of Associate I and Associate II accountants
- Train, evaluate, and mentor Associate I and Associate II accountants
- Ensure all audit and accounting responsibilities are performed efficiently and in accordance with professional requirements
- Engage in our client-centric, team oriented culture
Ideal Candidate Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of audit & attest experience at a CPA firm
- CPA licensure, or working to obtain
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex issues
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Exceptional client service skills
- Ability to handle multiple engagements and meet deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Proficiency with Caseware, Caseview and Suralink is a plus
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Coursework to include academic courses sufficient for CPA licensure
