Our client is a full service accounting, auditing and financial services firm located in Pasadena and Woodland Hills in California, are seeking a highly motivated and experienced audit professional to be part of our growing team.

Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

 

Requirements:

 

1. At least two years of public audit experience in public accounting
2. CPA or demonstrating progress towards obtaining CPA certification
3. BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university with a degree in accounting
4. Proficiency in GAAP and GAAS procedures and standards
5. Ability to problem solve and think independently with strong interpersonal and analytical skills
6. Excellent communication, both written and verbal, at all levels of the organization,  internally and externally
7. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and audit software

 

Responsibilities:

 

1. Ability to balance multiple projects while providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
2. Preparation of financial statements and related disclosures with an eye on quality, thoroughness and accuracy
3. Communication with clients and understanding of client’s business
4. Supervising and teaching staff and interns on engagements
5. Keeping abreast of the  latest developments and ensuring individual professional development through ongoing education
6. Anticipating and addressing client concerns and escalating problems as they arise
7. Recognizing opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients
